In 1956 the Jaguar MK
VIII was presented to the public. Compared to the previous model, the
MK VII, only a few small changes were made. A touch of lifting and
another pinch of technology were all that was needed to make the MK
VIII the perfect luxury car of its time.
The brilliantly elegant
style is the very essence of this car’s charm and identity. The
impressive interior is a subtle combination of leather, wood and
textile in a carefully blended colour scheme. Together with the
majestic dashboard with its beautiful round instruments (known from the
XK 140) it is perfected in form - an excellent design which immediately
engages all your senses and keeps your eyes mesmerised.
The saloon of the MK
VIII has the same generous proportions as the Bentley SII from the same
era. The large boot of the MK VIII easily takes your entire luggage or
your golf bags. Enjoy the grandeur of this majestic car either by
driving yourself or by travelling luxuriously in the back and
delighting in the beautiful scenery of the Cape while your chauffeur
takes you to your dream destination safely and comfortably.
